Mustang enthusiasts are likely counting down the hours, but for the rest of you who might not know, the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang will be unveiled tomorrow. Even better, next year marks the 50th Anniversary of Ford’s most famous model.
We’ll have more on the new 2015 Mustang later, but thinking ahead to the anniversary, Autoweek has compiled a selection of unused concepts from throughout the years that we think are worth a look, just to see what might have been. These mulligans represent a full spread of ideas that were thought of and then put back into storage, including low-cut speedster windshields, flying buttresses, and one proposal codenamed “Rambo” that was considered “too extreme” for production.
